Race Highlights
In 250cc Ricky Carmichael won both motos, despite a crash in moto 1. Fellow Honda rider Kevin Windham was second, Yamaha's Chad Reed third. RC tied Motorcycle Hall of Fame's Kent Howerton for the most consecutive 250 national wins in High Point.
Back on his two-stroke Kawasaki, James "Bubba" Stewart won the 125 class, as dominating as usual. Broc Hepler from Pennsylvania finished second on his Suzuki. Mike Brown took the third spot for Yamaha of Troy, with a 4-3 finish. KTM's Ryan Hughes hurt his hand after a crash in the second moto and did not finish the race. Stephane Roncada, suffering from food poisoning, managed to race but only finished 28-10.
